Pole sand the whole wall down and lightly Remove any dust remaining off the wall. ✅Step four. Spot prime the bare plaster with an oil based undercoat To bind the edges of the ripped plasterboard. ✅Step five. Using a base coat filler flush fill the damaged plasterboard, once dry give it a light sand and apply a topcoat bringing out the filler to a more broad surface. ✅Step six. Once dry using a sanding block sand the topcoat patch and prime with an undercoat. ✅Step seven. Cut and roll first coat of finishing paint, once dry apply second coat and bobs your uncle you are finished. #paint #painting #sydney #construction #diy #preparation

Before starting, I like having a drum of clean water next to me so you can clean your hands during the process. Step 1. Run your paint through a stocking to ensure the paint is clean and free of any debris. Not only is it not good to block the filters in your gun it will also do your head in if you were constantly unblocking your spray tip. Step 2. Bleed the machine with paint. Step 3. Turn the pressure right down before pushing all the water out of the line into a drum gradually turning the pressure up so you don’t get a high pressure burst of water and Paint. Step 4. Once you start seeing the paint come through then spray it back into the drum that you’re pumping out of for a good 15 seconds to ensure straight out Paint is coming out of your gun and not diluted Paint. Step 5. ⬇️ Come have a look !! * Step 1 — Clear the area of anything that could obstruct pressure washing.  * Step 2 — Using a blower and blow your driveway to remove any loose or leftover debris, such as pebbles, grass, twigs, branches, or small tree leaves. * Step 3 — If the driveway has oil and grease stains this is the time you go over them with a Degreaser. Let that sit for 5 minutes then was off. * Step 4: Now soak the driveway with a cleaning Solution of one part Chlorine and one part water after letting that soak for five minutes use your power washer to clean away ( Make sure your power washer is strong enough to Thoroughly clean the driveway and remove any of the cleaning solution). * Step 5 After driveway is dry ( We allow at least 24hrs) Paint your first coat of concrete colour seal. * Step 5 Allow driveway from first coat to dry for at least another 24 hours and apply second coat. The perfect finish! ✅ Step 1. We sand the previously vanished timber work until we break the surface and becomes nice and smooth. ✅ Step 2. The first undercoat that we use is a product called Zinsser cover Stain. It is an oil based undercoat that not only covers the stains caused by timber it also sticks well to varnish. ✅ Step 3. Once that coat is dry (overnight) we use a nail punch and hammer to punch the protruding nails and fill the nail holes along with and damages with filler. (we use sika wet area filler) it’s easy to sand and it’s a light blue colour so you know where you filled. We also fill all the gaps with flexible gap sealant. ✅ Step 3. Once the filler is dry, we sand all the patches alongside the whole surface. ✅ Step 4. After sanding the surface and the patches, we paint the surface with another oil based undercoat because once you sand it smooth it will take a bit of the previous undercoat off. ✅ Step 5. After the second undercoat, the surface will only require a really light sand with a fine sandpaper, once it is slightly sanded and dusted free of dust. The first finish coat can be applied. After the paint is dry, the second coat the finish coat can be applied and Bobs your Uncle your all done!!!

Timber decks for days! Being right near the coast, we needed to use the best and most durable products. ⭐️ On the timber ceilings, walls and doors we used Osmo UV protection oil. A beautiful product which goes on like a dream. ⭐️On all the timber decks around the house and the fireplace we also used Osmo brand but the decking oil range. ⭐️ We also coated the exposed steel beams and being right on the coast we used the Dulux industrial range two pac epoxy. ⬇️ Dulux concrete effect. ⭐️Step 1. Do all you preparation on the wall with filling any wholes and damages. ⭐️Step 2. Give the whole surface that you will be doing the effect on with an acrylic sealer undercoat. I use Dulux Total prep. ⭐️Step 3. Tape the underside of the ceiling cornice, walls that you do not want to paint and the skirting. ⭐️Step 4. Using at 22mm nap roller paint the concrete paint in 1m2 areas at a time Smooth the surface with a steel trowel with broad, sweeping strokes, holding the trowel at a 60° to 80° angle. Be sure to keep the working edge of the trowel clean by wiping paint build up with a damp cloth. ⭐️ Step 5. After two hours apply the second coat using the same procedure as step 4. ⭐️ Step 6. After two hours apply the third coat using the same procedure as step 5. ⭐️ Step 7. After another two hours use 600 grit sand paper in circular motion sand/ polish the wall. ⭐️ Step 8. Smooth the surface with a steel trowel with broad, sweeping strokes, holding the trowel at a 60° to 80° angle.
